La Roca is a spacious private villa set among the hills and olive groves beneath the white village of Alcaucín.
It is a place for easy mornings, sunny afternoons and evenings outside. There is room to spread out indoors, but the pool, terraces, shaded veranda and views are likely to keep drawing you back outside.

Designed as a home in the Andalusian sunshine.
La Roca was designed and built as a genuine home from home, with space, privacy and outdoor living at the heart of it.
Today it accommodates six guests across three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. An additional two rollout beds can be provided enabling up to 8 guests in total. The bedrooms are air conditioned, while generous living space and an equipped kitchen make it easy to settle in.
The property sits behind private gates with its own driveway and a covered parking space.

THE SETTING

La Roca sits in the Alcaucín valley in inland Málaga, surrounded by the dramatic landscape of Andalucía. From the villa, the countryside stretches away towards the mountains and Zafarraya Pass.
Venta La Parra, a family-run local restaurant, is around a 5–8 minute walk away, with Alcaucín village approximately another 10 minutes beyond. The walk up is quite steep and can be hard work in the summer heat, although the walk home is downhill. By car, the village is only around 2–3 minutes away.
Lake Viñuela and the coast are within easy reach, while Málaga Airport is around 50 minutes away.
